In 1962, petroleum salesman Jim Logan had an idea and a vision for a business that supports and helps farmers grow. 48 years ago, Ed Logan joined his father and helped make that vision into reality. This goal is still one of the backbones of Logan Agriservice, to be one of the largest Independently owned agricultural service companies in the Midwest and the US.
Ed Logan has strived to grow Logan Ag by keeping 2 main principles in their daily activities and conversations:
- βThe most valuable asset of a company is the staff that you employee.β Ed treats the nearly 120 full time employees as family and asks them to be owners in the company.
- β Provide your customers with quality products, at competitive prices, with service that exceeds their expectations.β
Thank you Ed for your continued support of our Pike CEO program and your insight. Thank you to COO Josh Schaver, office manager Karla Finson, and HR, IT, and Safety manager Andy for taking time out of their busy day to talk with our students and show us around. A true asset to Pike County and our community! Pike CEO Logan Agri-Service,Inc. Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship Illinois Electric Cooperative
